Five Years of Keevers Group – and the Journey Continues

By Keevers Team

Last week, the Keevers Group team gathered at Long Chim in the iconic State Buildings, Perth, to raise a glass (or two) and celebrate five remarkable years. We laughed, indulged in some seriously yummy cuisine, sipped on creative cocktails, and most importantly, connected as a team. It’s always a good time sharing stories, reflecting on our journey, and looking ahead to what’s next.

Reflecting on Five Years of Growth

When we first set out, we had a vision: to build a real estate group grounded in integrity, client focus, and deep local expertise. Over the past half-decade, Keevers Group has grown, evolved, and refined how we approach every property, every relationship, and every opportunity.

  • We’ve expanded our reach across the Perth coastal and greater metro markets.

  • We’ve navigated a changing real estate market, learning resilience.

  • We’ve built a culture of collaboration, trust, and a passion for excellence.

  • Our team has grown from 3

We take pride in every milestone, every home bought or sold, every family whose life changed and every agent, staff member, partner, and client who walked the path with us.

The Perth Coastal Property Market: Then vs. Now

Over the past five years, Perth’s coastal property markets have demonstrated both resilience and strong appeal. Lifestyle demand, affordability (relative to eastern states), and strong rental fundamentals have all contributed to sustained interest in the coastal pocket and northern suburbs of Perth.

While the past decade saw periods of stagnation, the last five years have generally been more positive. With demand for quality coastal homes remaining strong and increasingly constrained supply. That combination tends to benefit sellers – and heightens competition among buyers.

Perth property stock levels are significantly lower than the same time last year

Why Property Stock Shortage Matters

Low stock levels (meaning the number of properties listed for sale) fundamentally shifts the dynamics of the market:

  • Seller Advantage Intensifies
When there are fewer properties to choose from, sellers have greater leverage. Homes that are well presented, well priced, and well marketed can attract multiple offers.

  • Faster Sales, Less Negotiation Room
In a tight market, days on market shrink, and buyers often act quickly rather than negotiate extensively.

  • Price Growth Supported
With supply constrained relative to demand, upward pressure on prices becomes more sustainable.

  • High Competition
For buyers this means fewer options, more competition, and the need for agility and strategy when looking to purchase.

The Perth market’s current state underscores this, with listings well below historic norms. Perth metro listings according to REIWA.com are sitting at an all-time low of just 2,779 (as of week ending October 12, 2025) – for perspective the same time last year there were 4,588 properties listed for sale.

What It All Means for Keevers Group Clients

As we mark five years of Keevers Group, here’s how the current market shapes our approach and what you can expect from us moving forward:

  • Extensive market insight matters
In tight markets, small differences in local knowledge (i.e. which streets are hot, which properties are underpriced, where growth is emerging) can make a big difference. We stay plugged into real-time data and trends so that our clients can make informed decisions.

  • Presentation and Strategy are critical
For sellers: presenting your property in the best light and pricing strategically from the outset can attract stronger interest. For buyers: having pre-approval, clarity in your brief, and readiness to act gives you a fighting chance.

  • Patience and persistence
In a competitive market, not every opportunity will be the right one. We help clients stay focused and disciplined, not forced into compromises.

  • Focus on value, not just hype
While coastal appeal is powerful, we continue to advise clients to consider property fundamentals: land size, orientation, access, future infrastructure, and potential for improvement.

  • Supporting all sides with empathy
Because markets like these can feel intimidating, we aim to bring calm, honesty, and a steady hand – guiding sellers, buyers, and investors through the emotional and strategic dimensions of property decisions.

Looking Ahead: The Next Five Years

Even as we celebrate the past five years, we’re also excited for what lies ahead.

Market forecasts suggest that Perth will continue to outperform many capital cities in the years to come, fuelled by strong population growth and interstate migration, ongoing demand for lifestyle and coastal properties, and a constrained housing supply that will take time to rebuild.

That said, we anticipate challenges too: affordability pressures, interest rate cycles, and the importance of sustainable development. Through it all, our commitment at Keevers Group remains steady: to combine data-driven strategy with personalised service, and to walk hand in hand with clients toward their property goals.

In Gratitude

Here’s to five years of Keevers Group. Here’s to hundreds more homes, connections, and successes to come. And here’s to navigating the future – together.

If you’d like to revisit our coastal property market analysis or explore current listings, feel free to reach out – we’d love to show you where value is emerging today.
